This restaurant is closed. Either use the Little Switzerland hotel (through the petrol station) or use The Phatt Chef Roadside Diner and B&B 4 kms further UP the pass in the direction of the Free State.

Currently closed for renovations. From my last visit: Good food, slightly expensive. Open Sandwiches are really great and healthy too. Nice views and rest stop.

This was one of our 15 kilometre stop over point's. C team had a well earned rest after walking one of the steepest climbs up the oliviershoek pass. From here our teams continued to the top of the escarpment leaving KwaZulu-Natal and entering the free state province.
