  This beautiful town nestled 3 &1/2hours from Johannesburg and 3 Hours from Durban is a great place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of City life. Clarens is a quaint town. And very popular over weekends. For myself I prefer the quiet times to breathe in the world and fresh air and to exhale go for bike ride or walk and feel one with my peaceful surroundings

  For our first visit we were very impressed with the range of walks. We would like to return with a nap and explore more! It is a good peaceful antidote when the town is busy!

  We hiked here from Clarens town and highly recommend it! 30 minutes gets you there, and you can swim and relax in the reservoir.
