We were warned not go here, due to high crime rate. My husband and I didn't feel unsafe today. Security guards on every level. Unfortunately many shops now stand vacant. Be safety aware if you go. Don't wear expensive clothes, flash cash or use expensive cellphone/camera.

A good opportunity to find a whole lot of useful inexpensive items with some really good finds as well as a whole lot of junk. Fun.

Secure Basement car park. Has a number of departmental stores and lots of Chinese bargain shops including a beads and jewellery craft shop and a Chinese homeopathy store. There are a few massage and beauty salons

Basically a haven for cheapskates. From home decor to clothing. China mall has it all. I love it for my diy projects and party goods.

Just a medium sized shopping complex. Wouldn't even say it's a mall. It's not attractive and definitely not fascinating however close to South Beach for convenience shopping.

Cheap and reliable stuff. Can get very thoughtful gifts too especially those who are visiting Durban.

Typical china mall filled with plenty of cheap, inexpensive gadgets that will last a few weeks at most.

It was good it felt less like a real mall so I didn't really like it it's crowded but safe and is in close proximity to the beach

Good for cheap stuff. Know what u want when u go there, and dont expect good quality. Most of the shops only accept cash not cards.

It is a good experience but no cinemas anymore. It used to be a world class experience.

The mall is not very well maintained. Very quiet. Shops seem to be stuck with the same stock. Few chain stores seem to be keeping the mall going. Not impressed because the premises can be put to better use if bigger tenants are sought. A movie theater and a few good restaurant with late shopping hours could transform this place considering the location. Wasted venue.
