Staff/owners were friendly and the room size was very generous. The only gripe is that the double bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together so it wasn't all that comfortable for my wife and I to lie in each other's arms in the middle of the bed.
I stayed for three nights while I spent time with colleagues. The hospitality is excellent. Everything was clean and prepared when we arrived. Breakfast each morning is a real treat. Thank you for a great stay.
Very comfortable, welcoming and friendly. Ideally located not too far from OR Tambo airport. A perfect location to start and finish a road trip holiday or get to a business meeting. Secure on-site parking. Great breakfasts and dinner if required - by advance order. We stayed twice, once on arrival from England and again, after a month's road trip in Namibia, before our return to England. Comfortable rooms and delightfully clean pool. Really nice family too.
We received warm and quality services from the Chez Esme team, I'd definitely recommend this 4 star guest house to corporates and touriststhanks again Meena! - Khotso
The place has a relaxing, friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
The pool was a nice clear clean blue, which was a pleasant surprise as with all the rain the area had been getting which usually turns pools green.
The food was excellent and well presented.
The staff and Meena the owner were very helpful and friendly.
The room was clean, spacious, beautiful , even better than the photos.
My partner and I have now had the pleasure of staying at Chez Esme twice in the last few weeks and we just love it! Home away from home feel, great food and wonderful people. We will definitely be returning :-)
Stayed one night in September and truly enjoyed the quiet, comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms in a character home. The whole house is available to move around and relax. You will enjoy quality period furniture and appointments throughout the home.
Meena is a wonderful hostess who provides local history and information for the area.
Great breakfast to start your day and put you back on the highway. I would recommend it as a small detour worth taking to get away from the ubiquitous motels in the area.
