Great lodge on a nice location a little remote from Hazyview. Perfect to stay over before going into the Kruger Park, or to go drive the Panorama Route. The pool is a bit small but very enjoyable. Good food, for breakfast as well as dinner. Nice views over the valley!

This is a beautiful lodge with wonderful views of the Sabie valley. A sparking pool adorns the the lower level of the property. Dinner is an option at Chestnut and can be recommended.

Perfect view and accomodation!
We stayed in June there for three days - absolutely lovely owners and staff.
Would have loved to stay longer. Very affordable, delicious food and rooms.
Excellent service, history lesson by Memory included :-)

We recently stayed at this lovely Bed & Breakfast country lodge near Hazyview in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. It was wonderful. We stayed in the Chestnut Honeymoon Suite with private patio, romantic outdoor shower, king size bed and massive spa bath. We had the most pleasant stay and wish it could have been longer. The service was excellent, especially from the manager Memory and the owner Christine. What fantastic hosts? I haven't experienced such a high level of personal, caring service in a long time. The food was delicious too and the pricing is very affordable, especially considering the level of luxury and service. I would DEFINITELY recommend a stay at Chestnut Country Lodge. It's also right on the Kruger National Park doorstep and there are a ton of activities in the area. 5 stars!
