  This Checkers has been around for ages and is a common place for most locals to do their shopping. It hosts quite a variety of products, but is the smallest of the three in town (the other being in York St and Eden Meander). It does have a Medirite pharmacy with highly skilled, competent and friendly pharmacists. The deli has good food, the bread section is a tad lacking, the wine selection is good (closed on Sundays due to WC regulations) and the stationary/home sections are adequate. It has the normal range of fresh F&V, frozen foods, diary, large cheese selection, dry foods and household/health/toiletries products

  Not a bad selection, but considering the size of the place, they are missing quite a few items that I have found in smaller supermarkets. Every time I have been there, it has been busy, and they only open a small number of check out tills, creating long queues.

  It is always nice to go there as I live close to it.Because of my disability,I like the amount of disability parkings.convience shopping and I like it that there is a FNB atm.there are normally some products that is cheaper than at another certain supermarket group.it is also good that there are some other shops. The sausage rolls and steak pie is the best.

  Convenient supermarket which is centrally located. A wide variety of items offered and is a popular shopping store in George. Operating hours are convenient for shoppers. Have never had a bad experience at this store.
