Every single time I go to this Checkers I find expired items on the shelves. Last time I was there I found cheese that expired 3 months ago, when I showed the Manager he told me he had taken it off the shelves. the staff must have put it back. Uhhhhmmmm, I would believe that if it was 1 day past expiry, but 3 months! no way!

I bought a cooked chicken there this evening 13/4/2021. Absolutely disgusting so over cooked and dry I am sure it's about 4 days old. Very disappointed Checkers and no one answers the phone. No checking or quality control.

Their chicken strips is full of salt and not good for human consumption. I like to buy their chicken strips but not good for my health. Managers must look into that and do something since it will affect people health for heart diseases

There is a checkers less than 2km from this one that is FAR better.
It really doesn't matter what day I go to this checkers anymore Somehow management at this checkers think its okay to only have 3 tills open during lunch time and the queue is all the way back to the coffee isle no wonder i would rather drive the extra 2km for the convenience of a fully staffed shop.

store is not bad really just there is about 10 tills and there always like 6 of them with nobody there and the tills that have people are slow and the 10 times or less always had people with 30 items and nothing is done .. also the car guards are really bad they stand in the way when you try pull out and basically sit against your car waiting for you to give them money

This is the Checkers just up our street. Follows the standard Checkers formulae: very competitive prices, in-house butchery & bakery, deli and fishery section etc. Features are: open until 8pm 7 days a week and the made-while-you-wait pancake kiosk.

no stock of mustard seeds,nor curry leaves,scale cannot weigh two chillies,Chinese ( 90 %) Indian and Argentinian frozen seafood only, no South African origin frozen seafood. Left without buying anything,because the impenetrable scale could not be solved before my patience ran out.

We were hijacked in this shop. 9 Armed men came in carrying guns. Told everyone to lie down. They took our handbags, jewelery and money from the cashiers. Where were the security. Afterwards management did nothing to console the victims.
