Restaurant also pub next to the South Port Beach. Limited menu. Priced reasonably against market prices. Sometimes one gets live music, but closer to karaoke style. Waiters are there for the tips and not really to be of service. Situated right where it is necessary. Seating inside or outside is a nice choice. Visit when you are at South Port Beach.

Myself and my wife visited the Captain's anchor on Tuesday 13th September. Great place, cool atmosphere and good service. We had planned to return on the Friday night to have a party there with my daughter and her boyfriend, who had joined us for the weekend. Thursday we popped in there for a quick drink whylst shopping at Southport. We discovered that they were out of captain Morgan rum. We told them that we would be back Friday night and they should make sure they have sufficient captains rum for us. We arrived there at about 6pm Friday only to discover that they hadn't bothered restocking their bar. We questioned the manager why he hadn't stocked up, especially seeing that we had requested it the day before and all he could do was shrug his shoulders and look dumb. Needless to say we vacated the establishment and proceeded to pit stop where they were extremely well stocked and we had a fantastic evening.
