  Selection of equipment is pretty good and some of the most comprehensive you'll find in SA. However the shop doesn't stock technical, high end gear for diehard outdoor enthusiasts. Staff are courteous and professional but clearly do not know the product from first hand experience and are not outdoors people themselves.

  I recently needed to get a gift on my way to a birthday celebration. I called in and asked for the items to to be set aside, stating that I would be in store shortly. I arrived at the store about 45 minutes later to find exactly what I had asked for, set aside as requested. Having been advised that this was a gift, the staff members were ready to wrap it for me and I had experienced no delays at all. I did, however, need a specific type of gift wrap (different from the 3 options they had) so I went off to get that and stated I would come back to get the gifts as they were large and I didn't want to carry them with me. On my return, the items were set aside, prices removed, gift receipts attached and I had two staff members offer to wrap it for me but I didn't mind doing it myself. I was told that I am welcome to wrap it at their station. Even then, when I was doing so, they wanted to help with cutting the wrapping material, ribbon and tape. They even offered to help me carry it to my car. The staff was really super efficient and friendly. I left with them saying that they hope I get to the event safely and enjoy it. All smiles from all the staff all the way to the exit. Thanks so much for great customer service!!!
