  This cafe is always hustling and bustling with local alcohol enthusiasts... Lovely bar upstairs! They have good food and a good vibe. Try a pizza... Or go for a breakfast if you're interested in trying out some German cuisine. I've tried a number of things and was never disappointed.

  Extrablatt hosted a Salsa evening. The venue is perfect with a balcony giving patrons access to the Cape Town night sky. Staff friendly and efficient. The music was awesome and the dancing a perfect backdrop to the food that was on offer.

  Were looking for place to grab a breakfast and upon searching we came across them near where we were staying.
  Must say the breakfast was delicious, better than expected.
  However we did feel the restaurant and rest rooms are a bit on the dirty side, old dirt and grime.

  Very relaxed environment.. Great food and drinks. Also really nice to sit on the balcony and smoke a hub (hokka pipe) friendly staff and very well located with a cool view of the green point strip

  Located on Greenpoint main road, it’s a great place to sit and people watch. Not recommended if you are looking for a gourmet menu. But good enough for a beer and pizza on a lazy summers day.

  Nice vibe inside with a decent setup. Had the breakfast buffet and the food was good, bacon drowned in oil before it could be saved and the spread was pretty good however the overall feel was average and didn't live up to the expectations that it portrays. I would go back but not in a rush.

  I'd say good value for money but nothing special. They have burger, pizza specials some days and cocktail specials every day between 5-7pm. Give them a try when you are in the area.

  The best place to have after hours cocktails and good food.
  Mo-Fr cocktail happy hour from 5pm to 8pm. 50% off cocktails. Monday is pizza night, 2 for 1. Really the best hang out spot in the Atlantic Seaboard. German owned 😉

  Pizza Snail buns to die for
  
  Anyone would be comfortable after the welcome you get at Cafe Extrablatt . I love the way that their staff are always willing to help and make their customers happy. I for one cannot forget their "Pizza snail buns" as they call them. They prepare exceptional meals and finger licking starters. Their Famous Extrablatt Hamburger which costs close to R80 tops it all. It is not only juicy but very filling.
  
  The top balcony is so refreshing as it allows you to appreciate the scenery around the Capetown stadium. The balcony is ideal for any weather and for times when you just want to hang out with friends.It has suddenly become my go to place when I want to hang out in a place with nice food.
  
  Cafe Extrablatt is also ideal for end of year work functions. I once attended a work function and I was very impressed by the great service we received from the staff. We were allocated an area dedicated to the company employees only, which meant that the function ran smoothly.
  
  I enjoy the services at Cafe Extrablatt and will definitely go there again.
