Great place to chill. In the heart of Umdloti directly opposite the beach. Lovely atmosphere with good food and wide selection to suit all tastes Enjoyable tank beer. Variety of drinks available. Better book to avoid disappointment.

Nice atmosphere - go here to have a drink with a friend or friends and talk nonsense the whole night. When there is live music pick up your partner and dance.
Food is very average. Don't bother complaining because the chef will come out and argue with you - I should give it 1 star just for that but I will be fair. DON'T order the milkshake - it is sour and tastes nothing like the flavour advertised. Pizza was raw.response / report this review -

One of my favourite places. Food is simple yet delicious. The vibe is awesome. The perfect place to hang out with friends. Good quality food at a reasonable price.

Good place to meet the locals. Good quality and varied food on the menu and Bush Chips are big, generously portioned and probably amongst the best anywhere on the planet. Good discounts on meals on Tuesdays, generally serves beer and drinks until late. Guest wifi is available and is uncapped. Relations between staff and patrons are friendly and good. Music and dancing on Fridays especially.

Fantastic food and really good pricing. When my wife and I spend some time in eMdloti we love going to the Bush Tavern. The service is a bit slow sometimes but we do take into consideration of how busy they get. Would recommend Bush Tavern to anyone looking for great food at reasonable pricing.

Great view, great service Great Pizza and awesome value for money on Menue and located in a pristine spot in Umdloti! Consistent staff members who gave been there for years! That says something!

Local Umdloti Beach watering hole. The staff is really friendly, albeit rather lax when it comes to service. The food is amazing and reasonably priced too. They might get your order wrong, but you'll enjoy the food anyway. They also have live music often and a karaoke night every Wednesday.
