I own a painting and removals company and goes to Brights(the Bracken Gate branch) very often I have always found them to be extremely helpful and knowlegible about the products they are selling(especially the guys in the painting department who can mix/match basically any colour you can think of). I will always support them and I think they deserve a pat on the shoulder for their excellent service which they kept up after moving to the new premises. Well done guys!

Brights is a big store with most of what you may be looking for in the hardware line.
You will need to be aware that by and large their staff don't know the store layout, and they aren't trained to be knowledgeable about their departments so aren't very helpful. When we asked someone where to find an item we were directed to 4 different departments before being sent to the correct one. The person who is allocated to that department had never heard of the item, so we were alone in our search (we did eventually find it in their department). As you can imagine after that anecdote, things can be quite difficult to find in the store with items traditionally stocked in one department moved to something sort of adjacent, and some items actually hidden (e.g bird proofing spikes can be found by the area selling front doors, inside the centre of little pyramid formed by the doors on show, who'd have guessed?).

I absolutely love Brights!! I can spend hours there and never leave empty handed or disappointed with a purchase! Staff are always very friendly and helpful.
