    I recently had to go to the Traffic Dept, and twice we were told they are offline, come back. 3rd time lucky, but a queue awaited us. Once inside, the teller at counter 3 was on lunch, and again, we had to wait cause ONLY that teller can assist. That Traffic Dept must please look at their Admin setup and expand, really, it is time!!! Brackenfell is no longer a plaasdorpie. It's a city on its own.

    Offline....staff don't inform anyone. Makes you stand in the cold and rain.
    Working time.....only 23min today.
    Was told yesterday that I got a warrant and need to go to Gallows. Got to Gallows and was told there is no warrant.
    Seems this facility don't want to work.

    I am very impressed with the professional, efficient and friendly service I received from all staff members at the traffic department today to renew my license. Additionally, the process was completed much faster than I anticipated. I was in and out in under 30mins, which was fantastic considering how busy they were. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Highly recommended!

    Went to update my license it was relatively quick for a license department and smooth moving lines but i do recommend either going very early or late in the afternoon when everyone is done for a better line experience

    This was the day GOD told me to go for my renewal of my driver's license. There wasn't even a queue outside the building, just a short one inside and the people were friendly and helpful. I want to thank the lady that tested my eyes especially! She was the most helpful and kind person. Normally everyone is just grumpy or unfriendly in any department where ever one goes. But I had a very good day.

    They don't even deserve the 1 star. Absolutely pathetic. The lack of communication is astounding. The supervisor starting arguments with people in the que. Very arrogant woman that. Worst service I've come across.... Communicating what is needed to be helped is very important as I have been there twice and both times they neglected to tell me what I need. I wasted an entire day standing there waiting to be helped, just to be shown away arrogantly due to my paperwork not being in order.

    Some of the personel needs to be taught what work ethic is. Telling a customer to better get a new i.d or not being issued a license is unethical and just plain rude. She was more interested in discussing her bosses with her colleagues than treating the customers politely. But it also could be that some traffic and police officials sat on the same stick to warrant this attitude

    How is it possible that the eye test section is so slow? No man get more workers this is ridiculous, government claims there are no jobs but there are always empty sections in every government place, pull up your socks. Also why do I need my marriage certificate for a learners license? Ridiculous 🤬

    Lady in front very friendly and helpful. Took only 30 min to make appointment for drivers license, including eye test!

    Your front office is so quick and then you get to the eye test and payment desk and they are so slow... It took 15 minutes to get through the front information desk and 2hours 30minutes to get through an eye test. They have 4 desks for eye tests but only 2 working and 2 tills for paying but only 1 open. This is flippen ridiculous ...

    I renewed my driver's license here and was very impressed with the quick, efficient and friendly assistance. I went at about 15:00
    My license was ready after between 6 and 9 weeks (I wasn't able to check in between)

    Couldn’t find parking but besides that things went smoothly. It’s hardly full during the week and the lady at enquirers was super helpful. She even waited for me to fetch my proof of address in the car. Many would throw your ID back at you and tell you to come back tomorrow.

    It closes on Saturdays. Tired 3 time since July, and today the same thing. The security guard always said it will open next sat but did not. You are lucky if u read this review and know it does not open on Sat anymore.

    Q is long but that's understandable, contact numbers do not exist anymore and you can never get in touch via the landlines.
    As I do live in the area its supposed to be eazy for me and others.

    This is one of the most pathetic traffic departments I have ever been to. The staff are rude and not very helpful, they never answer the phone and the line is always very long because there is usually not enough staff at service. I would not recommend this traffic department to anyone.

    What has happened to efficient service. The queue is outside the door, but inside only one person helping. This is shocking and nothing gets done about it! Please employ more people who can do the job efficiently!

    Actually I wanted a zero star but just can't find one. The staff, especially two coloured ladies twice in when I visited. Firstly, even if you greet- they don't respond. Both. I was in yesterday again. Other lady behind 'Enquiry Desk.' Coloured, straight ginger hair receding to her shoulders with some necklace- like jewellery over her hair. None of the 4 people infront of me, around 2ish, pm. None got served as they came. She never bothered explaining. ....
    Then the phone, surely remove the contact number if you NEVER EVER pick.

    This department has the worst service of any traffic department in South Africa. The attitudes of the employees is pathetic, they are rude, not helpful at all, and treat you like rubbish. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor by talking to you, this of course adds to the fact that they are disorganized, don't answer their phones and can't give you information on anything. I strongly advise that you never go to this traffic department, it's a disgrace.
