  Really disappointed in the food, the buns were old and stale. The sushi was not even on a cold surface to avoid food poisoning, and most of the food was overly salty. No hot beverages were available, they don't serve milkshakes and only have tequila shots, nothing else. The waiter basically forced us to pay our bills while we were still eating because they were closing. Definitely not worth the price you have to pay

  Good buffet for the family. We mostly go for the roast lamb that is served only on weekends. Other dishes are mostly mass produced and taste as such.

  I'm typically not a fan of buffets but gave this place a try. I think it would have been much better if we're eating beef and pork as there was much more of a selection for these meats. The food was pretty standard, so was the service. Pasta and ice was point, probably the best items served here.

  I like their food, but if they can fix their coffee machine and microwave. We asked for coffee they said machine is broken. But they were kind enough to get it from next door coffee shop, came with cold milk. We asked the waiter to warm it and she says they don’t have microwave. Which kitchen in life without a microwave. However I’ll definitely go there again.

  Decent variety of food at a low cost (that's what the two star rating is for). Unfortunately, the food quality is not great and the roast lamb/beef options are almost always overcooked. The ribs are drenched in what was meant to be basting sauce. The dessert options are usually better than the main food buffet options. Typically, there is no service waitron unless asked for. Many of the dishes are meat dishes, but, according to management, they do not have steak knives. Having said that, the manager on duty did somehow "find" steak knives when I asked for them. On my last visit, we tipped the waitron a certain amount, but she took R5 extra. Don't think I will be going back there. As other reviewers pointed out, your money is better spent at any of the other restaurants in Monte casino.

  I have not been here as yet but already start this with a bad taste . We a group of 35 who want to book for dinner here , but they will not tell you whats on their buffet table or will not allow you to see what they offer. How do they expect us to buy without seeing what we are buying. You are not allowed to enter without payment. One you pay , you stuck with what they give you, No refund.

  Absolutely disgusting, no service from the waitpersons, until I asked for service, and then were very unprofessional, every time I ordered something to drink, i got a bill, food was awful, Mac n Cheese was flowery, lamb was extremely tough, salt & pepper pots were empty, crockery was never changed. However, what put me off the most, was the fact that the chef on duty was tasting the food that was on the buffet, and used the very same utensil every time he tasted another dish and did not wash it in between his taste tests. Disgusting, and will never go back

  Went there with my family on my birthday..we were sat on the outside next to the food court area.. We sat foe 10 mins and there was no one attending us...asked the hostess who came to clear the dirty plates from previous guests..the table was not wiped down and empty used wine glasses left there..my pregnant wife went to rush as she was starving..i stayed behind to get service.. 10mins later I stood up to flag a supervisor who did not enough apologise but brought us the cutlery and placed them on the dirty table and he left ...5 mins later I went to look for a waiter who complained he was alone in the whole section..i have him our drinks order and went to rush food...the salad section was empty and I had to settle for mains...tbe sausage was raw inside...when u came back to the table..still there was no drinks..after we finished the food and I stopped the waiter as he passed by..i asked for our drinks and he asked me again what did I order (means he never placed the order) We had our dirty plates on our table thought the meal time..only when we dished for dessert our drinks came...dissapointing...there were at least 4 supervisors who stood by the door and never checked on any tables...there were several tables next to us also complaining of the non existent service...i asked the bill and it came overcharged..i was charged R100 for my kid juice and another 5mins waiting the waiter comes to tell me he can not void it so I just pay the manual difference excluding the wrong charge...im a food and beverage manager where I work and I understand service and also gliches that can happen in back of house but this place simply has no sevice and no manager supervision at all...i have been there at least 6 times cos of the location..we get to do more in the montecasino but my family we will now go to the Boma restaurant where we also frequent..i was extremely disaapointed...u pay money to have no service and there loose on revenue as no one gets to order drinks that come on time...we were prepared to have at least 3 rounds of drinks but we struggled to be served...what a shame

  The place is spectacular as for the food a whole lot of variety to choose from. Been there twice would go there again soon for my daughter's 21birthday. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who like good food.

  This place was the best and is the best, if you come here, come hungry, otherwise you'll regret it. The food is amazing,I think I had three rounds of the main course and obviously one round of dessert. This place is good for anything if you ask me

  Went for a office party. The place is big with all kind of table arrangements. Also has a first floor area, although the buffet only served from ground floor. Food options are plenty and most of them are delicious and properly made and served. We took buffet. Which has sections for salads and appetizers, then comes pastas, curries, pizzas of different kinds. There was grilled chicken, beef and fried fish also. At last come dessert area. Which has different kind of cakes, ice creams, pudding and other possible options. I tried some, and all of them were delicious as I told. I would say it's a must visit if you are a foodie.

  The food was good with a variety. Dessert was best. We went on a weekday for lunch & the place was very busy as it was R100pp for a buffet. Waitress was great. Great value for money. Losing a star as the cashier at the front was abrupt & rude when we first arrived & asked if we could first look at the buffet before we decide.

  Awesome awesome dining experience!!! The food is divine, lots of variety, excellent service, very affordable prices.
  I was a bit skeptical to go and dine at Billy G based on some negative reviews on the web, but what I found was just super! well I beg to differ from those who found the restaurant displeasing. I ll most definitely recommend Billy G anytime! Anytime!

  I should have looked at the other bad reviews and avoided the place... Sadly, I paid to endure a quite unpleasant dinner. 1. The doorlady's personality was clearly on back-order. 2. The manager was rather uncommunicative himself. 3. The food was decent (not great, just decently average), but the lack of variety is disappointing. You could pay less for a greater variety at Boston BBQ. 4. Our waitress was friendly, but a bit slow and got several of our drinks orders wrong. 5. You have to guess how much the drinks cost, because the waitresses do not know and there is not a drinks menu. 6. All our cold drinks were warm and we had to ask and wait for ice.
  
  I really would not recommend this place and a miracle needs to happen to get me back in there again.
