Perfect accommodation if one wants to be close to the beach. Prices very well and free wifi is a plus.

My family and I had booked 3 rooms at Beacon lodge for 3 days. We had asked for a specific room because my grandmother cannot walk up the stairs because she uses a crutch. Bearing in mind we had booked in advance. When we got to Beacon lodge on the first day which was on the 31st of December we were told that the room we had asked for was given to someone else and so my grandmother had to stay on the third floor, even though she walks with a crutch. Our experience this past December was VERY UNSATISFACTORY. The management was rude when we wanted to book again for December of 2017, some of the rooms were not maintained, our room on the 2nd floor didn't have enough plates, the cleaning staff didn't clean thoroughly either. When we got there on the first day of our stay one of the rooms we had booked had sticky floors. The fridge on the first floor had rusty spots on it. All in all we are never booking at Beacon lodge again. We are taking our money elsewhere . Thanks but no thanks . Honestly, I wouldn't want to stay there again with such service. My mother left very upset after being treated the way she was by management. I hope Beacon lodge headquarters see this review.

The ladies were very helpful with regard to the booking etcWell done.
However I would not recommend people in a holiday mood to book at this lodge, neither if you have kids.
The children were not allowed to play and be themselves. We had to keep them locked up indoors as it were shown very clearly that they were an irritation to the hostess/es. Braai facilities is right in the centre of the rooms and even there absolute silence is required..
No ways I'll go back or recommend anyone to book there as this is most definitely not a place for holiday makers.
