Poor service, I have a VW already and have serviced there there are always problems, I wanted to buy another one waited days for sales people to get a hold of me.
Eventually contacted Barons Durban, within 24hr everything was sorted.

Technicians did not pick up a serious problem when vehicle was under warranty even though a problem was flagged by the customer. Led to catastrophic engine failure out of warranty, R175000 to replace engine and many months of lost productivity not having an operational bakkie.

Most useless vw dealership I've come across, the only thing this dealership and it's employees are knowledgeable about is sales and service, they cannot deal with other problems in a vehicle but charge ridiculous price for the smallest repair which they "think" will solve the problem. Will never buy a car from this place again

Worst place to take your car for a service, always get my car back with some issue

Took my car here for a service. Customers are treated really well. They offer to drop you off at work/home and pick you up when your car is ready. Coffee and other hot drinks are offered while you wait.

Workshop Controller by the name Adam has really put me off (p'offed) from even thinking of using Baron's as a potential Vendor to repair my VW Polo Classic 1.9tdi which I bought from them in 2007. Two reasons: they cannot repair vehicles but only knows how to service vehicles (where there is nothing wrong with the vehicle) or just being slack. Just cost themselves a customer and as I know most garages in the area is BWA-group, I will wonder further to find somebody interested in the customer.
