  Service poor and atmosphere non existent. Food was ok but chips cold and just lacked attention to presentation. And no ice cream or chocolate sauce!? Had such a positive experience at Misty Falls Spur in Howick so this was a huge disappointment. Pity because the play area is impressive.

  Food quality good. Service can be little slow at times but this is a beach town. Happy and at times noisy family restaurant. Play area for smaller kids - safe. TV monitoring cameras up.

  We had an amazing experience at Spur Scottburgh yesterday. In the past the service and food had not been the best but as a fussy diner I can say that they must have changed because the food was absolutely delicious, the service was FANTASTIC! But the best part was the funny, happy, wonderful way that Mxo the manager interacts with his customers. Mxo , you are a credit to Spur, thank you for changing our minds about dining at Spur in the future and we will see you again. You are a shining star. Mrs & Mrs Eagles

  Absolutely awesome play area for the kids to play. Seating next to the play area with attendants having a look over them. Children got there food very fast and waiter very friendly.

  Ok place if you have kids. Big play area for the little ones. This also makes it a bit noisy. Spur has become very pricey, so not a lot of value for money

  After being a customer at this Spur For 11 Years who visited this Spur at least twice per week i have decided to take my business elsewhere
  The reasons being
  The quality of the food has diminished to a large extent
  Example Chicken Schnitzel was always very good quality now poor quality on what has been explained to us as Head office instructions
  Quality of the steak's reduced
  Food served on cold plates
  Staff Turnover is high
  New shift managers every two weeks or so
  The serving staff are all very good The managers always want to change your food Even the simple breakfasts are served cold
  The manager on duty offered to provide our next food free of charge ,
  I do not go to spur for free food I go to spur expecting quality food which i have received for the past 11 years
  Please inform us when these problems are going to be sorted out
  i live in a village with nearly 400 houses we hear many such complaints
  from residents every day we want to go back to a good spur
