Very friendly waiters, and a nice place over all
Award winning ales (IBC Brewer of the Year - Africa!) in a beautiful garden setting. A MUST if you're passing through Dullstroom.
An unexpected piece of heaven, tucked away under the mountains, with incredible views and beautiful countryside. Well done to the team for looking after it so well.
The beer is amazing. You get to taste 6 of their beers at no charge and then know exactly what you want to drink. As a "take away", you can order 440ml beers or 1litre beers.
Dullstroom is lovely and having a beer(their porter is fantastic) at the Anvil Ale is always a great end to the day. You can also get coffee next door. They also sell rusks, Chai tea and coffee body and face scrubs.
Local brewpub with a range of beers and a couple of ciders to choose from.
The beer is okay but nothing special.
3/5
They offer free beer tasting and really dont expect a purchase, but the beer is so good you will buy. DON'T FORGET to try thier coffee.
Some of the cleanest and freshest craft beers I have tasted, especially the Blond Ale (4%abv 25BU) and the Mjolnir (West Coast IPA 6%abv 65BU). Free tasting of the 5 beers in shot glasses- enough to choose you next one! Lovely benches on the back lawn do sundowners but closing time too early! :-)
The coffee roastery on same premises is lovely too.
Dullstroom in general is pretty awesome! But this place made it special - ate some sausage platter which was amazing. The atmosphere is so cool, that we ended up spending 6 hours here, while it felt like 1!!
Great food and quick service. We had a German sausage platter and it was very good. The beer sampling is free and consists of 6 different ales
An absolute must when passing through Dullstroom!
Nice place to stop, have something to eat and drink before continuing on your journey
Good Beers served in a nice garden. A lot of choices and nice food.
Great tasting beer with a vintage atmosphere, perfect place to kill some time.
Nice to sit outside and enjoy a beer tasting. I'd prefer to pay for a tasting board and get a few small pours than the half shot glass approach they do as a freebie. The toasted sandwich was decent enough. There beers were enjoyable though.
