A small nature reserve. IDEAL for birdwatching. Security and guided on site
Beautiful peace and tranquility
Great.. really peaceful.. I didn't see many birds though.. just heard them. Well maintained
Nice small Park, fairly well maintained with short walks , picnic places, benches and viewing points with helpful guides.
The staff is friendly, and regarding the rest of the place, well , I suggest that during a walk on tbe dilapidated trails and overgrowth , mosquito,'s and a fubar perimeter fence , wich allows uncontrollable access to thieves, muggers and all other dangerous elements, be armed or in groups of 5 or more. Photography equipment is expensive and easy to set off, so avoid the place totally when alone. My aged mother who use to practical ly live tbere during tbe day taking photographs , was attacked and bloodgeoned to inches of her life.. worst of all is when the incident was reported to amanzimtoti Saps, , tbere was an eyewitnesses in the holding cells that ACTUALLY took the SAP right to attacker s home , and identified hin to the SAP. FIve months later and Station Commander Refuses to Arrest And outright Ignores Pleas from a 70yeR old VICTIM'S CRY FOR JUSTICE.
Nice scenery and good place for picnic and braai
Great potential but very neglected and seemingly mostly abandoned.
Not great for bird watching, but surprisingly well maintained.
nice place to visit
The birds is the main attraction.
But the facility is controlled and upkeep by the local government, and that is a disaster. This factor undermines the potential of this place.
This is a Gem, which is neglected by the maintenance of the place.
The birds is worth the visit !!!
