It is great to stop here,have something to eat and drink and watch the wild animals near the drinking hole. Rhino, Buffelo, Ostrich and some other game. Really worth the stop and stretch those legs!

This is a wonderful place to stop and can be safely reached from both sides of the N4. There is a wide variety of eateries that can cater for you whether you are in a hurry or have some time to spare. There is the most incredible view featuring a drinking hole surrounded by buffalo, hippo and a variety of large buck. This place is more a destination than a stop. The rest rooms are spotless and of course they have petrol and diesel.

A must visit stop over for any traveller. Full marks for this concept and an ideal place to take a break on a journey. Lovely variety of food options to choose from and very scenic views to enjoy. The wildlife on view is such a unique offering. Always feel refreshed after stopping over here. Highly highly recommended.

Alzu Petroport N4 being on a route where people en route to vacation travel is ideal to stop and take a break as you can eat at any of the restaurant's while stretching the eyes looking in the far distance and a great view of the animals just in front of you and the family take part in identifying the animal species. Just the type of relaxation you need before taking the road to your destination.

Nice gas station to take a break during a long journey. Has a large variety of food and drinks available, with a couple of different take-away or eat in places inside, and clean bathrooms with a nice view of some nature while in there. You can also go outside to see the wild animals. Overall very nice

Nice place to stop at. Men enjoy a view of ostriches whilst relieving themselves in the clean, modern and stylish bathrooms. A few non-24 hour shops are available. They lost a star because Nando's wasn't open at 8:00am. The access bridge over the highway makes it far safer than some of the other stops further up the road. At night, they provide highway lighting for about a 1km or so on either side making them more inviting.

As far as filling stations go, this is probably the best there is. They have a small zoo, curio shop and more eating options than you can think. I really enjoy road trips just for the fact that i could go there

Great place to stop. About halfway between Johannesburg and Nelspruit. The highlight is always seeing the wild animals. Facilities and cleanliness are good as well as the food selection. Much better than your average petrol station.

Alzu is the highlight of my trip on the N4. The variety of food on offer is great. The coffee from Mugg and Bean is always a winner. The rest rooms are always super clean. And the animals that you can watch while you enjoy a warm beverage are just the cherry on the cake. Don't miss out if you are travelling in that direction.

Wild animals to view from within restaurants (Rhino, Eland, Buffalo) situated at the gas station. Restaurants include Spur and others. Clean bathrooms. Outside deck for those who prefer to be closer to the animals. Due to its popularity it is always busy. Ample parking available.
