We have been liaising with ASG for weeks regarding a refund of our safari booked for September 2020. We provided clear evidence from the South African Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman and SATSA that evidenced we were entitled to a full refund. We were told to wait until 30 days prior to receive a full refund. over 1 month since we should have gone we have only received an offer of a partial refund despite being eligible for a full refund. I have now reported ASG to the Ombudsman and would encourage everyone to avoid this company if booking a safari.

I chose African Safari group because they helped me tailor an itinerary that I would be satisfied with! I wanted to do a 7 day safari, but fly into Kruger rather than drive 4 hours from Johannesburg. I also liked some features of different safaris I found online. African Safari Group helped me to build my own adventure, rather than going with a set itinerary, and that was really great!
