  Roughly the geographical age of our island Upolu in Sāmoa is 3.5 million years old. The turquoise blue waters of the Pacific Ocean have, from the events that lead to their formation surrounded and kept the entire Samoan Islands 🇦🇸🇼🇸 isolated. As a result of this extreme isolation much of our flora and fauna which is unfortunately decreasing at a rapid rated due to human contact has had little to no documented research. This highlights to us that the potential medical benefits..., to name one may be locked away inside and could easily disappear forever. Protection, preservation and management of our flora and fauna should be imperative to all that live here. For @rainforestrunaway this is paramount with everything we do.
