The Vanuatu Women's Beach Volleyball Program commenced in 2008 as part of an identification program involving Canadian Head Coach Steve Anderson, Australian Coach Lauren McLeod & Vanuatu Volleyball General Manager Debbie Masaufakalo.The biggest highlight to date for the Vanuatu Beach Volleyball Program was Winning a Bronze Medal at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018, competing at 2 World Championships.2014. The members of the squad have broken the mould of how a woman in a third world rural community is expected to behave, questioned social conditioning and forged new paths for other women in predominantly male society.
