  I had a fried crepe filled with mung bean and mushrooms. Large serving and very delicious. The bean curd with ginger and coconut sauce was also very nice. Good service and good decor

  Fabulous food not cheap but good.
  Be aware of (poorly applied) dress code. Hubby in tailored shorts, smart shirt but was wearing slip on moccasins. Apparently these are not closed shoes. Went back and changed as we appreciate regs. Bit upset when the guy next to us was in walking shorts and trainers. Mmmm.....

  It's OK. Read so many 5 stars reviews for this place and was excited to try it for myself. Nothing really special. Interesting take on traditional dishes but if it's not better than why bother? The wait staff is very friendly and helpful however the hostess need to either be trained again for just replaced. We walked by the restaurant in the afternoon and decided to step in and make reservation for dinner. We were asked to not wear sleeveless shirt, no sandals, and no shorts. Guess what? by the time we were done with our dinner, half of the restaurants were in shorts and sandals. It wasn't a big deal since the restaurant is in the middle of a tourist area so they can't really enforce it, but at least be consistent about it. There was another mood killer right off the bat by sitting another couple right next to us when the whole restaurant was wide open.

  Excellent food and cocktails. Wife is vegetarian, so went veg tonight. Tumeric curry, pineapple and tamarind soup excellent. Brown noodles we're good. Paper rice rolls very good. Great part of district 1 with high end shopping and great lights at night. Service was impeccable.

  Place is really nice. It was decorated art deco. Service was excellent. We wanted a more private space but the waiter said we cannot sit on one empty table because it was reserved. Later, we heard that they let two people without reservation to sit on that spot.
  
  Food seems expensive but there are cheaper ones. They are equally good. We particularly loved the ribs with squash puree.

  Had a wonderful lunch over here. The pepper tenderloin beef was so good that I had 2 bowls of rice to go with it. Attentive waiter/waitress as well. Kudos, will be back here again.

  Pork dumpling with shrimp and pork was mostly gelatinous and very lean on pork and shrimp, the accompanying fish sauce had no flavor.
  The duck, blend baby boy choy and cold mashed potatoes although copious and we'll presented, completely lacked Vietnamese flavor. I could have had this dish in any other restaurant in the world. But in Ho Chi Minh, I am sure it is much better executed and for a fraction of the price.
  The decor, the settings and the location come with a price ... guests pay for it and  satisfaction comes after that.

  It was Saturday night, came with 4 colleagues very hungry and ready to eat smorgasboard...
  One of our colleagues was not let in because he was on flip flops. Came here many times before never to come back again.

  if you are a conservative tourist from the West with money, then you'll probably enjoy. otherwise it was pretty bland compared to other local restaurants. the interior decoration is nice, but food is very disappointing.

  Disappointing food and very overpriced menu. Bland food catered to tourists in fancy blue restaurant. Don't think Luke Nguyen got anything right here (food, prices or interior) but I'm sure he can improve on it. Not a restaurant I'd want to go back to.

  Food is not bad but too pricy for HCMC. I can see why it's popular but you can find other restaurants similar to this one with better price, or same price with better service. I am not happy with the service here, with the money I paid.

  The food itself is tasty, but it's not to that kind of level you will keep coming back for. Very pricy, the price is before VAT, and it comes with 5% service charge which totally adds up another 15% for its already expensive price. And the service......I totally understand the restaurant wants to build up a high class image, but the service is just not there. Not that they are rude or impolite, it's just not attentive and considerate comparing to the real good restaurants.

  Travelling in a tour does come with some advantage. Mainly, when its time to tuck into a meal, food card has already been pulled. Meaning, dishes are already pre-ordered, seating place is also already allocated, and so, once we arrived, the arrays of dishes were rolled in. Not bad, I really didn't mind the two types of Vietnamese rolls, the soup, the fried squash blossoms etc etc. However, instead of fruits to end our meal, I would have sincerely appreciated any kind of Vietnamese dessert. Anything for the matter.

  This restaurant was recommended by hotel staff. The pancake was very good but the chicken was terrible. Overpriced and left very disapointed

  Very slow service when there were not many people. Our food was also served slow and doesn't taste good. Chicken was overcooked, dry and hard. Only their banana dessert was nice. Overpriced food. You are mainly paying for the ambience with live traditional Vietnamese music performance in the evening but it was so not synchronised. We felt that they were making noise or just showing up for the tourists.
