  We paid an extra of USD15 per room for 3 rooms, for the mountain view. However, only 1 room on level 6 had the mountain view. The other 2 rooms on level 4, had a view of the opposite hotel. Upon asking the hotel reception, she claimed they can't control it if others decide to build a hotel and block the view of the mountain! I cannot believe this.

  Excellent hotel. Very clean, spacy room. Staff also very helpful. Breakfast food is also good with good view over the valley

  Location is quite good, you can walk around the hotel and to the central square within 5mins. Restaurants are all around the hotel. On a good day you het really nice view of the mountains here.

  A nice place to relax and some room is able to see the view of Fansipang Mountain. Breakfast also provides with many kind of food including western style and Chinese style. Fresh fruits also provides in each room. Clean and tidy easy to sleep.

  My 5 friends and i were supposed to stay at Sunny mountain for 3d2n but end up being transferred to Bamboo hotel on the pretext that their internet or heater was down.
  
  We had relatively good meals here albeit the portion size given for 6 people for each dishes was one small plate.
  
  Bamboo hotel room given to us in the rushed as we've heading out for hiking and did not realised how HARD the bed was. Our body was aching so badly after hiking 13km+ and it was really bad that we cannot sleep on our sides as it hurt to turn around on hard bed. We were given a room at level 3.
  
  We found out on the day we're leaving that someone else insisted to stay at Sunny hotel and the room and facilities was better than at Bamboo. We wondered were they in cahoot with bamboo hotel.
  
  Really disappointed!

  The place is functional and reasonably comfortable, but is a bit dowdy. Nevertheless, the hotel itself is fairly central in Sappa town and the staff try their best to accommodate guest requests.

  Don't do it. Awful stay. Website is misleading. The room 'looks' nice, and was probably renovated recently. That's where it ends. Overpriced for the quality. Breakfast is not good. ("Orange Juice" is from mixed powder...) The bed/pillow combo gave me back and neck pain. Sheets are dirty--covered in stains and someone else's hair. Mini fridge is warm and smells. The room smells. Massage was terrible and overpriced. Pool was locked (although this was probably for the best--don't know what we would have picked up if we went swimming...) Staff are not helpful or friendly. They threaten to charge you extra if you get the towels dirty. Location is kind-of ok, but is hard to get to because of one-way streets. Have I left anything out? I was happy to leave.

  Nice hotel 3 stars in Sapa. Accessible only by cars as impossible to walk up and down the hilly contours. Breakfast is fantastic.

  Rooms were good but the staff is really rude, specially the receptionist who was useless at best and very rude at worst. The so called red herb bath and massage was a disaster - they have public bath tubs just covered with some see through bamboo sheets and gave me and my friend the same room for the massage and were super unapologetic about it. The masseuse knew no English and couldn't communicate anything.
  The food in the restaurant was very mediocre.

  This hotel was overbooked and they cancelled my reservation claiming that my credit card was not valid. But I use my card for every reservation without problem. They never even reply my email about it.

  Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed in! Staff are super helpfully and the bed is amazing! Memory foam mattress! See the pictures below of our room. Only downer is the pool looks nothing like the pictures and is ice cold.

  Clean but quite chilly in cold weather
  Nice comfortable rooms but entire hotel was very cold in cold weather.The hotel does not have a heating system. All the staff wore their winter coats inside. Good hot shower at night but shower was barely warm in the morning. We waited from 930 to 1130 for hot shower but no luck. We called the lobby and they sent someone to the room and let the water run for five minutes with no change in water temperature then smiled and left.
  Get to the breakfast 600-1000 early. We got there at 930 and everything was gone or quite cold.

  Rooms were spacious however had no power one night and only when we felt stuffy and went up to reception to ask someone to turn on the generators did someone look into it (the phone lines were not working due to the power failure) Overall it was a nice experience and the view from the rooms also good (if the weather is not foggy)!!!
