  Poor experience. Check-in desk lady wasn’t helpful at all and was clearly annoyed with us for not understanding her - when her English was not good enough for an airport! Ended up paying a luggage fee...

  Small but doing fine and fast. Nothing to complain about.
  
  Of course you can’t compare the same with any big international airport.
  Service is limited but totally okay and enough for a short distance flight.
  
  Used Vietnam Airlines and it was on time. Can’t say anything about any other carrier like Vietjet or so...

  A nice small airport. You cant do online check in with Vietjet air to this airport. Come a head of time.... Outside no chair to sit, only in a cafe. I have to sit by the conner while waiting for check in.

  Worse airport in Vietnam especially for Vietnamese people. Everyone is rude from the attendants to the security personnels. There is no elevator so you are force to lug your luggages up two flights of stairs to get to the gate and then another two down to get to the bus that takes you to the airport. I rather sit in hours of car travel than going back to this airport.

  Nice little airport, conveniently located near the beautiful city of HUE.
  Nice cheap restaurants
  Flights ain't always on time though
  And there is no place to leave your luggage

  December 1968, I was with the 22nd Surgical Hospital the other side of the runway building a makeshift pharmacy. Had difficulty keeping bottles on the shelves due to all the military air traffic.

  Poor and dirty facility. Especially the ground staffs / attendants aren't quite friendly and useful. I would give it half star. Bad service

  Although this is an international airport, it's quite small. The food is good and the free public wifi is available but only in the waiting room. There are a bus line to centre of Hue city. The ticket is only 50000 VND (~$2). If you do not go to Hue or want more flexible options, there are other kinds of transportation, such as: taxi, motorbike (xe-ôm).

  Very few people understand English to help with handicapped passengers. The handicapped waiting room is used as a smoking room for security. The bathroom is a storage room. No instructions on where to wait or finding someone who understands. To get to the plane you climb upstairs to the 2nd floor gate, then a set of stairs down to get on a bus to the stairs to climb up onto the plane. No reason for a 2nd floor except to trap you into an area to spend money. Everything appears 2x the price that is out in the markets.

  Got food poisoning at the Confetti restaurant eating a boiled rice with beef and vegetables. Incapacitated for two days with fever, vomiting and diarrhoea. Know it was this restaurant because my friend didn't order meat at this one and symptoms started couple of hours after this meal. Do not eat. I normally eat from side stalls too so my stomach is fairly good, also I've not had food poisoning for over 10 years.
