Here deep in the soil lays blood of national hero Nguyen Trung Truc, who fought French with his own group and later betrayed by his friend and arrested at Phu Quoc and at last beheaded at this . It was the central market at Rach Gia. He is always considered as a Saint by people in Mekong Delta.
