  Today was Palm Sunday. I visit St. Thomas several times each year and it was my first time attending this beautiful and historic 350 year old Lutheran church. My family had such a positive experience. The congregation was very warm and welcoming. We began with a gathering down at the gazebo followed by a traditional palm waving procession up the front steps, led by the choir in their full robes. Lovely service, passionate Pastor with a meaningful sermon , and a friendly sharing of the peace during the service where I felt nearly every member made an effort to stop by our pew to welcome us as visitors. Will definitely look forward to returning on the next trip to worship at Frederick Lutheran Church again!
