Who are we? We are a women's empowerment laboratory that creates spaces for social transformation in dialogue and action, in areas such as urban planning with a gender perspective. What do we do? At WELab we work for all people who want to feel free from conventions and gender stereotypes. We are the catalysts for change, opening up conversations and creating spaces for all citizens to contribute solutions. We are pioneers in the field in Venezuela, we organized the first Mobility and Gender Congress and we actively participate in activities to promote the city, we are activists for sustainable mobility and we work in networks for women's rights. Why do we care? Because we want to raise awareness and generate changes driven by citizens who want a more just world. To be a network to grow, to be heard, to do something to improve their ecosystem and be part of social change. Why we came to shake up and awaken the collective consciousness to make this world a fairer, more inclusive and happier place!
