They do have a separate vegetarian section in their menu and I loved their grilled veggies and cheese croquetes. The staff was good. The male waiter has a bit of unwelcoming attitude though. I recommend this place for good food and good ambience!
To be honest a pretty corny place that values quantity (in terms of menu items) over quality. You can get anything you want, but it probably will be mediocre. I got one of the worst salads, it was basically all raw onion with 4 small pieces of chicken. I barely ate any of it, it was so vile. I'm sure other dishes are better but wow, I've never seen a basic salad prepared so poorly. The design of the place also feels really cheesy with bad live performances and a racist caricature of a black doll. Leaving Uruguay but if I were to stay I would not be coming back.
Unimpressive meal. The staff, however, were very friendly and attentive.
Bohemian vibes.
Loved the food here! We were lucky to have mesmerising love music which made the evening truly memorable
Excellent place to enjoy good kitchen and very good attention
Quirky little cafe with good food. Price was fair. Like all places in Uruguay, they love their salt.
Nice place food is a bit pricey. Got hamburger without bread but that's how it's served. Wifi works. I have mixed reviews about this and feel you can get better for cheaper around here
Worthy of a visit for lunch/brunch etc. in Colonia
Was visiting Colonia del Sacramento for the first time and you have to eat in this place. Crazy ambience 😘n lovely food just too tasty ☺️
I am from Argentina but live in the U.S., I came here in July of 2014, and I loved their food so much that I made a point to eat here at least once a day every day that I was in town. Truly amazing food, the "chivito" was the best I've ever had. The decor is fun and whimsical, and the service was fine, but nothing espectacular but I still dream about the food here. If I ever go back to Uruguay this is where I want to eat!
This place is unique and full of colorful art. The food was good..
The place looks nice but it not reflects what you get! I took the schrimps with curry; they look like crap and they taste to sour. My girlfriend had the fish of the day: white salmon; fish was ok but the thick soy sauce was all over the plate. To salt and wasted all the other flavors. When asked for the bill they're trying to charge 3 couverts + extra 60 pesos foto the singer of two songs. There much nicer and cheaper places to eat. Take your picture of these old cars and don't go in!
OK food, nice atmosphere with the music outside
Decent service, decent food and decent prices. The interior and decorations of the restaurant are really cool. Note - they don't take credit card.
I usually don't give restaurants a bad review but this place was pretty upsetting. They don't take credit cards so we had to find an cambia place to exchange for pesos.
The little fish and lemon sauce was decent, nothing special. Their recommended shrimp curry with rice though was quite bad. I wouldn't consider the sauce a curry and it was definitely way too acidic, not salty enough, and almost metallic tasting. The shrimp were frozen and way overcooked.
I would not recommend coming here. If you do, try something else! Service was friendly though.
Food is ok but they don't accept credit cards what is an absurd for a tourism city. Fancy decoration and a singer who reminds me of Dido (lol).
