  It's no wonder they're going Out of Business. HORRIBLE customer service. There were 4 employees standing at their checkout area in the middle of the store while 1 employee was trying to help everyone with questions. I went to one of the employees standing in the middle of the store with the rest of the employees and asked about the price of something and gave me attitude. His response was "It's what the sign says." I told him the item didn't have a sign with the price which is why I was asking him. His attitide was, how dare I make him work. He walked back to the item and as I told him the item did not have a price tag. He gave me the excuse that other people are "tagging" the items. By this time I was completely disgusted with how I was treated and the item could have been discounted 99% and I was not going to spend my hard earned money in that store. As I walked out of the store I apologized for making him work. He loudly said "Im not giving you any attitude. If you have a problem you can contact Tiger Direct." One of his coworkers asked what happened and he loudly said "the price is the price. This is liquidation, I don't have time for that." I don't know why because I was not arguing the price. I just wanted to know the price of an item and made an employee do his work. What was I thinking?

  Long story short my experience in tilly was poor however because of great leadership Akeem in the NC Raleigh area, turned it around and salvaged what was turning out to be much less than a dissatisfied experience... not always do company promote talented leadership but this was a great decision as he is an asset to the Company...

  Went in, walked through, looked at some televisions on our own. 5 employees hanging out by at the center counter...not one said hello or approached us asking to assist us. No wonder the store looks like a stripped Rent a Center. Is HHGREG Going out of business? They sure acted like that today.

  What ever happened to customer service? I wandered for half an hour in the same section before anyone even asked if I need help. Then they pointed me to another section and told me I had to wait for them to finish with another customer. Another half hour passed while other staff just sat around. I left and took my business elsewhere. I won't go back to that store.

  I wanted to purchase a TV they had advertised in their weekly ad. However they were sold out in the entire region. The manager went above and beyond to earn my business offering me the floor model at an unbelievable discount. They shrink wrapped the TV, and offered to deliver for free if it would not fit in my vehicle. Then the manager personally made sure that I received all of the accessories (remote, cables & manuals) about a week after my purchase I realized the remote I received did not have all of the functions it was supposed to. I returned to the store with the remote, and they swapped out no questions asked.

  Great bargains. But you have to watch the sales and discounts. Not a large selection of items other than appliances and tv's.

  Wow this place has a lot of one star reviews. Here's another! One of the managers lied to me and told me what I was buying was a "smart tv" when it wasn't. I called the manufacturer of the TV who said very clearly that it was not a smart TV. I returned the TV. They wasted a lot of my time.

  The associate who was supposed to have 'assisted' us was so unbearably rude it pained me to keep a calm demeanor while I was there. I was prepared to spend money in addition to filling out some paperwork, but the horrid service that he provided for us made us decide otherwise. Don't go there if you can help it.

  Terrible at getting their problem solved in a timely manner. They wanted us to solve it ourselves even though it was their fault our brand new appliances do not wok because they left out the key piece.

  Awful!!!! Way they conduct business. Sell you a top of the line washer with pull out drawer but leave out the one piece put that makes the whole thing work together. Good luck getting any problem solved from their Manager Julian he has given us nothing but the run around for weeks. Save your time and your money and go next door to Best Buy.
