I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from La Sierra University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.

) from Loma Linda University in 1992. I am a qualified Sleep Dentist, specializing in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea, and I also conduct comprehensive sleep studies. In addition, I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoy hobbies such as SCUBA diving, snow skiing, water skiing, and farming after hours. I raise sheep, donkeys, chickens, and horses, and tend to a walnut orchard—continuing the farming lifestyle I grew up with.

I’ve been married for 34 wonderful years to my wife, who is a dental hygienist/office manager, and I am also blessed with four amazing children. Two are practicing dentists, one is entering their final year of physical therapy school, and one is beginning dental school this year. I’m also a proud Papa to four beautiful grandchildren.

In addition to my work at home, I’m passionate about giving back. I volunteer my time providing dental care to underserved communities around the world and, an active elder at the Red Bluff Seventh-day Adventist Church. It’s a humbling and rewarding experience to help relieve pain and restore smiles—allowing people to eat, speak, and live more comfortably. There is no greater joy than seeing someone smile again without pain.
