Z's is a good place to grab a quick an inexpensive lunch. It is extremely popular with the high school crowd. Avoid going from 11 am to 1 pm throughout the week. Z's offers a good selection of craft beers and craft soda. The pizza is not the greatest, but for the low cost its acceptable.
Love ZwanzigZ! Great beer and great pizza! The restaurant itself also has a nice and comfortable atmosphere.
Beer was good. Service is terrible. I stood at counter (I was only one at counter) way to long before someone came over to take my order. Mind you there were 3 people working behind the counter and never acknowledged me.
This was my second experience at this restaurant. The first time there was no indication that you order at the counter and so I waited at my table for a server for a few minutes. When I noticed someone cleaning a table I asked for a menu and was then informed of the process. Customer service goes a LONG way.
I won't be back nor will I recommend.
What a great place to eat. Been coming here for many years and I've had probably 1 bad experience for a 100. Which isn't bad at all.
Food is pricey but rightly so. It tastes great and the drinks are unique too
Had some excellent beer and a lasagna pizza today! Then while I was there they tapped a new porter that they serve with a bit’o’honey candy!! Peanut buttery with a hint of honey. All I can say is AMAZING! I am usually an IPA guy but this was a special treat!
It's the best pizza in town. They also have craft beers and sodas. But, you are expected to seat yourself and order at the register. There are no waiters and no one will tell you to sit down or greet you.
Might have been the Best food I have had from a brewery and I have been to many! The beer here is great as well. They seem to specialize in cask beers and bourbon beers.
Great fresh salads. Loved my sandwich. Perfect order even though a bit of a wait. Great for casual dining.
I was surprised that this was a counter service kind of place. Had to wait in line a bit, but it seems to work out okay. I had one of their home made root beers which was good. I was with men who like meaty pizzas. It was too salty for me.
Great pizza, house brewed beer, and atmosphere. Slightly pricey but food and beer are top quality. Daughter got a flight of house made sodas and loved them.
Pro tip: try a pint of chocolate ale mixed with blueberry ale. Wow.
My first time there, and there's no host or hostess to seat you when you come in. I told the bartender, a taller guy with a chinstrap beard and ball cap, it was my first time there and asked where to sit to get food; he said either side. So I sit. And wait. And wait. Meanwhile, the bartender comes by THREE TIMES without asking if I needed anything. I waited twenty minutes without seeing a server so I left. On the way out I asked the bartender where the server was. The bartender, who knew it was my first time there because it was literally the first thing I said to him, who walked past my table THREE TIMES without asking if I needed anything, said, "Oh you order up here, bub."
I didn't know that. There aren't visable signs. Not a menu. He didn't bother telling me. Instead he acted like I was stupid for not knowing how to get the cleverly hidden food at your restaurant. That distinct lack of service is a disgrace. Too bad, I was in the mood for pizza and it smelled good. Because of that goon I won't be giving it a second chance for a long time, if ever.
I love going here for lunch 70% of the time food comes on time. My family ordered some pizza and beer for dinner and we're ready for some great pizza. 1 to 1&1/2 hours later still no delivery so we called the place to see if they got our order and they said "yes it's on its way" so we thought sweet it'll be here soon. Another hour passed and still no pizza and beer. By this time it was 9 o'clock and the place closed so I called again and asked where our delivery was and then they told us we didn't order anything they check my phone number and found nothing under it So at this point I was upset and they were saying that we never ordered anything then we checked our called history and we called the right number both times. I was extremely upset for waiting almost 3 hours and checking in regularly and they just said I never ordered. I ate ramen that night..
Great pizza and breadsticks and even better beer! Many of their beers are some of the best in town. I typically go with a half n' half of The Ticket (chocolate beer) and Blueberry beer. Very tasty! Growlers are reasonably priced as well.
Stopped in after seeing a movie downtown and had the Imperial Stout. It was amazing! THEN I saw that they had the same beer but with Ghost Pepper added. If I hadn't already had the first one I probably wouldn't have gotten it but I am really happy I did. It is truly unique and you just feel the intense heat the entire time slowly going down into your stomach. It's crazy. It's out there. It's fantastic.
Good food and good beer. Would have spent more time and $$ though if the staff had been more engaging. Like pulling teeth to get info on their beers.
