Come to Yakitori Totto with great priced skewers for a clutch late night grab. Though be warned, late night activities might make it hard to walk up the long, steep flight of stairs.

Eric Ripert, chef of Le Bernardin, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Shishito yakitori.

Ask for the soft knee bone as soon as you get there (nankotsu) as it always sells out fast. Delicious!

YUM! My fave yakitori were the Momo (chicken thigh) and Tsukune (chicken meatball). Also delicious are the Tako Wase (marinated octopus) and Mizore Gake (fried eggplant).

many of the cooks from JG, Per Se, Le Bernadin and others in the area frequent this joint after work. There is a reason, the food is spot on.

Rare poultry and grilled meat on stick never had it so good. An instant classic in Midtown: affordable, cool, and dependable. [Eater 38 Member]

Try the super traditional yakitori—it’s made the way it should be. The flavors are intense and you will walk out of there with a big smile on your face! -Candice Kumai, Top Chef
