Little chilly in November but that's to be expected!!! (Smile) Great time, all gravel sites, not real expensive.Plenty of stores to shop. Clean bath house, Plenty for the kids inside and out to do.
The place was great! Kamp K9 was a perfect place for my dog to play. The entertainment center was PERFECT. From arcade games to batting cages to bowling lanes, this place has it all! The only thing that could have been better was the pizza. We will most definitely be returning very soon.
This camp.site is in a nice area very cozy. Our family loved it. The only complaint my wife was the stall doors were very close to the toliet. When you shut the doors the doors would touch your knees. This only happened in the stalls by the cabins. It's a great family camp. Very clean.
I go here every year to camp with my brothers and ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail. Every year I see something new and improved. The staff and owners work hard. Love the bowling alley!
Loved KOA so much! We camped in a tent camping spot. They also have RV spots. The staff were amazing and helpful. They are let friendly! 🐶 Most everyone camping there was friendly. Clean shower houses and bathrooms. So much to do for the kids. Swimming pool, bowling alley, arcade, candy hunt (even though it was raining the night we were there they still made sure the kids got candy🍬)ice cream socials, karaoke, tractor/hay rides, Batting cages, mining for fossils and rocks, And more Every thing at Wytheville KOA campground was exceptional! We are already planning our return before the end of summer!
Nice clean campground. Lots for kids to do. My only complaint is our site(grass area) was rough. But the gravel we parked the camper on was nice and level. Nice big fire ring. Pool and bowling alley. Will definitely stop again in our travels. Staff very nice and helpful.
We went tent camping here last weekend. It was great, and everybody was very nice and friendly. The pool is really nice. The bathrooms are average and a little far from the tent sites. Firewood (about 7 dollars) was dry and burned well. Free coffee in the morning. There's a small arcade with bowling, pizza, and mini-golf that the kids enjoyed. The tent sites are very spacious. There's a lot to do. On Saturday we went on a hay ride, and at night there was a candy hunt for the kids. We'll definitely come back here. Oh, and the employee mentioned in another review isn't rude at all. He seemed like a nice guy.
We stopped there on our way back to Canada, the service was good, the sites were adequate but not overly well laid out; it rained while we were there and there was some mud around. Overall we still had a good time, we built a little fire one night and it was quiet in the park. Overall it was a good experience. We will be back there.
We bring our daycare children here during the summer. The employees are always friendly and helpful and the facilities are always clean and in good condition. Our kids and teachers always have a great time!
We stayed overnight at Wytheville KOA. We had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Loved our stay and would stay again if we are passing through.
Very rude employee named Matt came outside and as I had just got to the top of the slide yelled "don't be standing around at the top of the slide." Employees reflect your business and this type of environment drives business away..
Skip this Koa and have a better time elsewhere.
Best KOA we have been to. So much to do for kids and adults. The grounds are very clean and the staff are very personable - just awesome folks!! Thanks for providing us such a great place to spend our holiday weekend. We will make this KOA one of our regular places stays. Can't wait for our next visit.
