One of the best historic sites in and around Savannah. Over 400 oak trees surrounding the long driveway. Very nice hike. Just loved it.

We came for the trees. It's not worth it. They will charge you $10/adult to even take a photo. It's really not worth the price because there isn't much to see beyond the trees at the entrance. There is no plantation.
The staff is rude. They will do anything to have their power trip fulfilled.
We paid to enter and photograph/film, but once we started trying to film a short clip for a video we were met with a screaming staff member. The shot required driving our motorcycle slowly down the road and we were safely doing so when a man who worked there came out yelling at us. There is no reason why we shouldn't have been allowed to do this. Traffic is allowed on the road. If we paid we should be able to be on it. We weren't bothering anyone, endangering anyone, or harming anything. We actually waited numerous times for other visitors to go by and take their own photos. It takes a couple times sometimes to get a shot, but we were being very aware and careful not to be in anyone's way. My photos and video were not for profit so my rights were equal to those of any other visitor. We were being very patient and respectful to others while working on the shot so it was alarming to be yelled at and very disappointing that we couldn't get the shot we wanted.
Very much a waste of money.

The live oak trees covered in moss are so beautiful. The entire sit is so amazing to walk through. It seems as though everything has been kept historic and the surroundings are beautiful. There is great history here. A definite must see in Georgia.

Wow, this place.the drive up to the museum is amazing. You drive down a very long gravel road lined with old oak trees, with tons of Spanish moss just dropping from the trees. We did the 1 mile loop walk to the ruins, and it was just lovely. The lookout over the marshland was beautiful as well. I'm so glad we came here, and will recommend this place as much as I can! If I'm fortunate enough to come again, I'll do the free guided walk just to learn some more.

This was an absolute fantastic experience! The live oaks with the Spanish moss is truly a step back into an era long forgotten. Our experience was different from most as we got a tour of areas that are for the most part "off limits" to the general public. The house and private library are amazing! The Owner is the nicest person and very hospitable and shared a wealth of knowledge being a direct descendant of the founder. Aside from our private tour, there are many public functions available and a great place to spend an afternoon in Savannah.

Pretty expensive for what you get. However the grounds are gorgeous. Glad we went but wouldn't go back at that price.

The history is very interesting. Make sure you watch the short movie. (They had it on a tiny screen) but the story was very interesting.

It was a surreal experience. If you are in Savannah, Georgia, this should be on top of your list-of-things-to-do. Live Oak trees and the hanging Spanish Moss will take you to a whole different level. There are some trees and moss like that in many roads in Savannah. But this site looks so pristine, so original. it's awesome.

I am not giving this 5 stars because I think that their charge of $10 for adults and $7 for children is a bit expensive given what is at the site. That said they do have a state junior ranger program which is great for kids.

The iconic oak tree drive is clearly the parks main attraction and it does not disappoint. It is simply breath taking and truly remarkable. We were fortunate enough to see a deer cross the road while taking pictures.

I recommend making the time to see Wormsloe even if it's just to see the oak lined drive.

Looks like a neat place, but they want $10 per person just to drive down a road and walk around a half-block area. Can't even see the plantation house. Two stars because the trees are gorgeous.

This place was gorgeous and enjoyable even on a hot day. I thought it was worth the price just to drive through and take pictures of the live oaks. That road is truly breathtaking and we walked around a bit too. Some pretty views across the marsh. Definitely a must see!

The tree-lined drive is gorgeous, but I am not sure it is worth $10/person. Once you get to the end there is a small visitor center and an area to walk around to see some tabby ruins.

My advice, save your money and take pictures from the entrance. The rest seems a bit pricey for what is available.

We were there on a very quiet day which gave us the opportunity to enjoy nature. Along the stream there are a lot of fiddler crabs, taking some patience to watch them all crawl out of their holes.

Nice park for walkmovie theater has short movie on what early settlers managed. Has a 3 mile trail, depends on your activity meter it's a nice walk. Cost okay for state park. If you enjoy photography it's a great place.Lots of landscape photos but also many blank canvases to develop your creativity.

The highlight of the entire place is the tree-lined entrance. We expected to see a 'plantation' home not the actual ruins of a home. It was a nice mile or so walk around the place after you pay $10. We went through woods and around the marsh area and back through the woods on a trail that was hazardous with tree roots that were above ground---which is fine and understandable. I mention it for anyone who has trouble with balance or twisting there ankles. Wear comfy walking shoes. I should have researched the place better but was going off a site online that said "25 things you must do in Savannah" or something along those lines. I could've chosen better things to do. Maybe one day I can go back for an extended period and write my own list of things to do while there.
