WASIA is a non-profit organization dedicated to help promote peace and prosperity for all by minimizing domestic and global violence through education and diplomacy based on a platform of common-core universal principles found at the heart of all major world religious traditions, and presented as programs designed by a team of early childhood education professionals, psychologists and spiritual leaders.The WASIA Awareness Program (WAP) will be introduced into early childhood educational curriculum, both domestic and international, to instill core values during a child's formative years and would serve to create a more solid foundation of respect, acceptance and compassion. If a child can be taught to pledge allegiance to a flag, they should also be shown the value of pledging an allegiance to the respect and reverence for life, for all sentient beings.The WASIA Intervention Program (WIP) would be a negotiation/mediation tool designed to help diffuse or resolve any immanent or ongoing conflicts or disputes between two or more parties, both domestic and international. This program would transcend any political interests or religious bias, and be implemented by a delegation of WASIA representatives to help find balanced and peaceful solutions with all parties through a recognition and understanding of common interests, as well as an acceptance of their differences.
