Love this place. The owners are very thoughtful caring people and love to talk with their guests. The campground itself is clean and has a brand new dog area. The pond is large, didn't anything but sun fish, but I also didn't try real hard. Also has walking paths all around the complex. Activities are also fun. Camp store is small and has basics, plus propane refills. Easy drive to see Parker Dam or the Elk as well as State college events. I will be returning next fall with the crew.

Enjoyed our stay at this campground. This was our first visit and my 7 yr old son asked if we could come back again some time. Folks were friendly and helpful, nice pond and walking trail. Small playground for the kids. Relaxing experience.

We were headed to Pittsburgh and decided to toss the tent into the trunk. As we drove, we googled campgrounds in this area and took a chance on Woodland Campground. We got lucky! They had a great site, private and very clean available on this holiday weekend. Bathrooms were also extremely clean and the showers were great. Very friendly owners and they had 2 bundles of wood waiting for us at our site so that we could start a fire as we set up. It is actually not in the middle of nowhere, so there were places to eat about 15 minutes away.

Absolutely great place to stop or stay for a period. We were there for a month while working in the area. Nice campground with trails and lake. Family oriented and quiet. The owners are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet and very helpful. If all works out we hope to spend a month or two there next year. Tracy and Linda

The owners are very friendly and helpful. This is our first time here and we couldn't be happier. The bathrooms are clean and they have showers as well. Everything is very clean. It is a great place to take your family!

This was our favorite campground we stopped at on our honeymoon. We were pretty spontaneous and booked each day of our trip as it came and we were so lucky to have chosen this place. The owners were kind and welcoming. The place is quiet, clean and very well manicured. You can tell they put their all into the property. There's a pond with a little beach, play ground, game shed, hiking trails around the grounds. They even opened up the hot tub for us. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Spent the weekend here and it was wonderful! The new owners are very nice. Even helped us back in to our site. Campground was nearly full and it was still quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back! Loved it!

We live full time in our RV for my husbands job, he works 7 days a week, 11 to 14 hours a day. We've lived here at woodland since March 30th with absolutely no problems! The owners here are wonderful and so accommodating! Every aspect of this campground is PERFECT! My toddler absolutely loves being here, and loves the HUGE playground and sandbox near the lake! We're already dreading our move to our next job! We've met some wonderful people here, all of which have been friendly and inviting! This will be our vacation spot when we get the chance! This a definite must stay if you're traveling on I80 through Pennsylvania!

Spent a night here during a bike tour across PA. I am always encouraged when I encounter friendly pets at a campground. Both the dog and the cat were. The owners of the place are equally friendly. Affordable rate. Nice, clean facilities. (You can tell the owners take pride in the campground's appearance. Inexpensive firewood delivered to my site. One big plus, especially for those tenting it, is that the place is far enough from the main highway that road noise is not an issue. A few miles off PA Bike Route V, but well worth the detour.
