Overall it's not a bad school. Some of the courses felt a little irrelevant but being as the courses themselves are so short it's not that bad. I wish there were more they could teach in so little time but I don't feel unprepared for a job. Their job placement department however is absolutely amazing. They don't give up on a student or even a former student. The faculty do care about the students as well.

The school is very costly being that it's private college. Majority of earned Credits are not transferable, you can't choose or make your on schedule (it's given to you) and it's required to take classes like keyboarding and remedial English that we all pay for, don't need, but can't use the credits elsewhere because they are high school courses. Schedules are 5-6 hours a day for 5 days a week. You're in every class with the same people over and over. Most holidays we are in school, and we don't have summer nor spring break. Personally I didn't like how other students conducted themselves (loud, maybe ratchet for say). Yea you graduate in 16 months, but I would have preferred a traditional college setting. It was not a pleasant experience for me. The vast majority of my major courses had to be re-taken due to the fact that although we’re taking the same classes everyday for 5 days a week, the hours are still not equivalent to that of a regular college. For someone only seeking an associate’s degree it’s not a bad idea, but for those striving for bachelors degree, this school would not be a wise choice.

The placement department however is very helpful. I had interviews in a short period of time and started off with a entry level job. The courses that are actually aimed towards your major are rather good even though they can’t be transferred. They teach you what needs to be done and a great amount of knowledge is grasped from them.
The teachers and staff generally care about the well-being of students which in return helped me feel comfortable and more welcomed. The environment itself is nice, located in midtown Manhattan. The classrooms were kept cleaned, which is something I can't complain about, being that I hate messy places. And the campus is small along with classes, allowing more teacher-student interaction.

Overall, credit transfers were my biggest issue along with courses I felt were unnecessary. I wasted thousands of dollars and am not happy about it.

my experience with wood tobe-coburn has been as the parent of a potential student. the admission process was always about the dollar, pay this, pay that, pay pay pay. having gotten over that hurdle, i received a student loan from the school, making a commitment to pay monthly (which i can only do based on my pay schedule). day one for my daughter turned into a pay pay pay. until she can make the first payment for the student loan, she cannot start classes. wow, my first experience with a school that is more about the almight dollar than providing the education.
