Really enjoyed my stay here. Clean rooms, very nice staff, the breakfast is good, the WiFi was solid, not a complaint to be found for me.

The facility is great! Modern, clean and in a fantastic location. Right next door you'll find the civic center and within walking distance you'll find some good local food ranging from burgers to high end steak and seafood. Well lit parking lot. The staff that I dealt with were very professional, welcoming and polite. One of the better travel experiences I've had in a while.

We had a very good stay at the Wingate. We were there for the weekend after I checked out of the hospital having to leave my preemie in the NICU. The Wingate offered our family a discounted stay for people with family in the hospital. Our rooms were clean, the breakfasts were wonderful, and my two older children enjoyed having hot chocolate available to them all day long. I especially want to praise the breakfast attendance because I had issues with the chairs that were there and she went both mornings and got me a different chair out of a conference room so that I could be comfortable during my breakfast.

Most of you know that some people just like to complain. Take that into consideration as you read some of these reviews. I am a traveling dueling piano player and I stay several nights a week in hotels. This hotel is reality great for the money. Centrally located to downtown festivities and the consumer service was very satisfactory. Are there nicer hotels, yes! However, for the money this hotel is on point. No complaints here and I would right the negative reviews off as just negative people. Enjoy your stay if you should decide to spend a night here.

- Despite some of the nasty comments on here this is a very nice hotel. yes some of the rooms there are a tad out dated but they are starting renovations on the hotel. The staff is amazing helpful and very friendly. Maintenance is on top of everything and the housekeeping there is wonderful.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, August 4-6, 2017. Four rooms were used by our family. Our previous stay was in 2013. The property is now showing several signs of deferred maintenance: only one of the two elevators was working and had been out of service for several weeks we were told; the carpet in the hallways was overdue for cleaning and repairs; our rooms had only been partially cleaned upon check-in, with dirty floors and bathrooms noted. This could be a lovely place with some investment in upgrades and diligence in housekeeping. But as it is, it is tired and worn looking. We were sadly disappointed.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The rooms are always clean. The beds and pillows are comfy. showers are nice and relaxing. The coffee is delicious. Always have a nice quiet stay. Breakfast isn't too bad. Will stay again though

I stay here once every year. This time it was more quiet than usual. Everything in the rooms are well kept and very clean.

The room is beautiful. Very comfy bed and pillows. The breakfast was very good, if a little bare. The only complaint really is the there is no swimming pool or hot tub. But, all in all, a very enjoyable stay!
