Amazing food...relaxing atmosphere. Good choice of beef burgers. I believe I had the Mable burger. It was over the top...spicy peanut topping that made this messy burger just over the top. Just enough spice to make it a real treat. Pickles were perfect and crunchy. It was nice to see many local goods for sale. I picked up a bottle of the Backyard hot sauce...be careful with this one! They put the heat in hot !

Came for lunch. Place was really crowded but we managed to get seats inside. Ordered the Po'boy with country ham and the pecan pie. Almost couldn't eat the sandwich because there was so much bread. And it wasn't even really good bread. Pie was good though. I don't get what all the fuss is about, but the place was full of people acting like it was the most wonderful place they have ever been. I probably won't be bothered to make that drive again.

I ordered a salad. It appeared quite nice but as I was eating I thought I saw a lettuce leaf move....I dismissed this as an optical illusion. What a mistake! After another couple of bites I uncovered a LIVE SLUG on my plate!! I felt nauseous. It was disgusting! When I took my plate to the counter and showed the woman the slug she told me that it was because the lettuce was organic. No refund, no apology, she just whisked my plate away. Terrible!

This is a wonderful little treasure. The food is awesome. Makes my top ten list of best burgers. Find this place if your close to Lexington, go out of the way if you have the time. You will get to see one of the most beautiful parts of Kentucky on your drive and have a great meal. Don't forget to grab desert for the road. All the food I have had from here is amazing. Be prepared for a line during lunch hours.

Food is extremely tasty. The double bacon cheeseburger is ungodly huge. It is a little pricey... But it is overwhelmingly satisfying if you're patient on your food order. Just stop by relax enjoy the company of your friends and family and have some damn good food.

Locals absolutely love this place. It is great! But I haven't fallen in love with anything on the menu. I think it just isn't my taste but everyone who lives in this area should try it!

One of the best things about this restaurant is the setting. It's out in the country, surrounded by fields with horses. The food is pretty casual... sandwiches, po boys, burgers and salads. Their side salads are particularly good and can be substituted for the chips that come with the basket type items. The line is often long, you order at the register and then the food is brought to you. They pride themselves in using local ingredients and also sell goods from other local stores.

Great food, great location, and authentic! I took two friends from out of state that travel full time for work. Both friends have visited more places than most people. They were both really impressed with Windy Corner and the authentic atmosphere.

Incredible food!! They had bluegrass music the night we went, which was stellar. Food took a while (which is why they didn't get a 5-star), but we'll worth the wait.

My wife and I have eaten at this place on three separate occasions over the past couple of years and our experience seems to get worse and worse. It is a shame because we enjoy going to Wallace Station but for some reason this location can't seem to get together. I ordered an oyster basket, and my wife ordered the stuff chicken breast. The service was absolutely terrible as we, and four other tables that we were near waited for 50 minutes to get our food. When the food arrived, my oysters were tiny, more of the size of a fingernail in size which I have never seen oysters so small before. My wife's stuffed chicken breast was dry and cold. There is no manager walking around the dining area or wait staff asking customers if they need anything or if they enjoyed their meal. They seem puttoffish. We will never return again.

We came here on a trip to Lexington, and I will come back here at every opportunity I get. Best cheeseburger I have ever had in my life, and I love me a good cheeseburger. There was three others with me and we were all so impressed with the food we got. If in Lexington, you NEED to eat here, it's a little out of the city but the drive and the food is well worth it!!

My daughter and I went to Windy Corner today for the first time for lunch and it was awesome! It was a nice, easy, and pretty drive from Paris. The place was packed with a long line that moved fairly quick despite how busy it was. We received our fried pickle appetizer within 5 minutes or so and our entrees fairly quickly. I had the Kentucky Boy with corn and black bean salad and she had the corn cakes with pulled pork and broccoli. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was good and the staff friendly. I heard some nearby patrons complaining about the line but I didn't mind considering the neat atmosphere and local wares on display to look at. The menu also had a nice variety! We can't wait to go back! Thanks Windy Corner for being skmething different amidst all the chains. Highly recommended!
