Love this Church. Pastor is a great teacher of the Bible. Enjoy the Praise music. People are very friendly!
I only visited here twice, and both times I was not acknowledged at all. I don’t need the red carpet, but a smile or handshake would be nice if you want visitors to feel welcome. Apparently, if you’re not a part of the in group, you’re not welcome here. My advice - keep looking. The Holy Spirit is not here.
We look forward to worship service as a family every Sunday at Willowbrook Baptist Church, a Christ-centered church where all are welcome.
Pastor Mark, and the entire Willowbrook team, bring passion to the weekly message, music, and various ministries for followers and seekers of all ages.
Highly recommend Willowbrook, a refreshing light in our community, to anyone that wants to connect with or learn about God, His grace, and the gift of eternal life in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Amazing, Holy-Spirit filled church whose people truly live out the Bible! Scripture is read, preached and taught every single time. They pour in to their children, youth, and high school kids and training the next generations to love God and people. Our Pastor is knowledgeable, practical, funny, relatable, and he truly loves our church. The worship team and staff are wonderful, down-to-earth people who serve selflessly every single week. They also pour their gifts into writing songs, sharing devotionals, reaching out, encouraging you personally, and serving in other aspects of the church.
I encourage you while you are searching for a church remember these things: 1. No church is perfect and will have every, single thing/preference you are looking for. They are made up of imperfect people. Show grace! :) 2. Do they preach and teach the Bible? 3. Look for a smaller group to plug in to get an even deeper sense of community. 4. Find ways to serve in the church. There are so many ways to get to know more people if you find an area you enjoy and volunteer. It helps run the behind-the-scenes so much smoother!
The holy spirit is not there in that church. It felt more like you were worshiping the band and the pastor rather than worshiping God! You don’t need big tv screens and fog/smoke on the stage and stage lights to worship God! At one point they started singing lion king “in the jungle” during the service and the congregation started singing along with him!!! There’s no room for God to move in the service because they have a strict bulletin that’s timed out perfectly and on a schedule. And if you’re a member of this church I encourage you to open your eyes and realize this lukewarm style of worship will not get you into heaven! Worshiping idols on the stage instead of humbling ourselves and worshiping God intimately.
Very friendly, caring, welcoming people.
Superb place to worship!!!
I enjoy the fellowship and sunday school options offered to all. The variety of worship styles allows everyone to find the right one to fit their needs. Indeed a large church with plenty of opportunities for service to God.
This pastor is full of God's love and this church is a warm safe place to attend.
Totally enjoy Pastor Mark preaching. Music is great no matter which service you attend. It is a large church, just introduce yourself!
I've been going to this church about 10 years, and it's been the best 10 years of my life, great music, great preacher, great community
Once you get involved, Willowbrook does a great job of making a big church feel small. Get involved in a LifeGroup, find a ministry in which to serve, and worship with 5,000 fellow believers. I am proud to call this place "home."
