We had moved to Gordon Ga in 2015 and the kids started the school year 2015/2016. They did finish the year but it was so hard for us as parents and them as victimized children. They are all three white children 2nd, 4th, & 6th grade. The school is predominately black. They were bullied at school and on the bus daily. The bus was so out of control on one occasion that the bus driver had to drive to the police station to have some of the children removed off the bus.We had hospital trips on two occasions from the bulling being so physical. I am a slim white women in my 30's and had many issues with the school staff being resist. Example: I would be in line 30 minutes or longer to sign my kids out, the women behind the counter (Staff) would skip over me when I got to the book and pen and personal hand the pen around me to the next parent behind me. We had many days that my husband and I both would have lunch with the kids and took the problems to the Principle but never seen a difference in the problems at hand. The school is very new and very nice but the racist problem is very bad. They had black history week for over a month and allowed the kids to hang their studied information on the walls in the hallways. I agree with that but most of the projects that where on the walls consisted of Black basket ball players and black singers. Not who I was under the impression they should be studying. I do have videos of the projects hanging not just my imagination. We have at this point started Home Schooling but wish that we had a different option with in our budget considering we still pay taxes. Please check into the school very well before buying a house in the area. We are now stuck and have to move for a better option. Best of Luck to you!

Very Disgusting to read on the internet about the Assistant Principal Beating students. Those that use boards to hit others with are cowards and bullies. While most of America is trying to eradicate bullying and violence this school district promotes it with administrators hitting students.
