"We're not really a campground." That's what the clerk checking us in said when we asked why the was no fire ring and picnic table at our site! Seriously? This is mostly full timers with many nice build outs around their RV. Pool ok, most buildings with amenities smell strongly of mildew. Wi-Fi advertised on website but note at desk says no Wi-Fi & neighbors said they haven't had it in a long time. Landscaping is nicely maintained. Restaurant and candy store are nice to have. No privacy between sites. Wasn't horrible but nothing noteworthy either.

Great RV Park in the middle of the Ocala National Forest. The only drawbacks are lack of Wi-Fi and the fitness room needs new equipment. It is both kid and pet friendly. There is a large pool and a large dog park.

I love Jan's Cafe on the premises of the RV Park. Good breakfast always. We go here at least once a month because we live near here.

What a great experience this weekend! First visit to Wilderness RV Resort and definitely not the last! Great check-in experience, office staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Nice amenities including a huge pool, game room with billiards, ping pong and darts. nice fitness center with steam room and sauna. Bath houses and rest room areas are all very clean and well stocked. RV sites are huge and well maintained as are the grounds. The onsite restaurant is also very good while serving breakfast and lunch- -All homemade food and family atmosphere! Can't wait to go back! The Sena's

FLORIDA'S BEST KEPT RVING SECRET!!! We camped here in the "Preserve" section in a 45 foot motorhome. The office staff was very helpful and friendly, the easy access sites are huge with ample room on concrete for parking and patio activities. The pristine pool, hot tub and beautifully groomed grounds are a delight. To top it off, the price is more reasonable than most FL parks, and even more reasonable when using one of our camping discount membership cards. We will definitely return.
