Had a great experience here! Brought my grandpa here to get a new pair of boots and hat and Casie helped us out! She was a ton of help! Ended up getting my little one a pair a boots as well! I will be bringing the rest of my family back! Keep doing what you're doing because there isn't many places like you left!
Good:
Very cool western wear store
Great place for tourists to get a sample of Texas cowboy culture in the middle of downtown Dallas
Massive selection of cowboy hats and boots
Along with plenty of Texas/cowboy themed souvenirs and decorations.
Great decor really gives it the feel of a cowboy store.
Lots of friendly people to help
Very high quality products
Bad:
Just understand that this place is a specialty store selling high quality products, so prices are high. These are not the cowboy clothes you get at Walmart.
Authentic cowboy boots and apparel. The owner is SUPER nice, will take his time with you, and is a wealth of knowledge! Made me and my out of town friends feel like we were part of the family! HIGHLY recommend!
Local souvenirs shop. Cowboys hats, shoes, belts, finery, ornamental and so on. Not high art, but good to buy some local souvenirs. Friendly and helping staff.
We just left from this store and the staff here are amazing! They helped me find everything I needed and I felt bad that I held them past closing . They were very sweet and did not rush us at all! Fantastic customer service! (Visiting from Miami, FL)
Great store for western apparel. Friendly, helpful staff. The person explained how to wear a cowboy hat (I had it on backwards!) and the distinction between materials used and their purpose. Also a great place to buy souvenirs (such as wooden armadillo dressed as a Texas Ranger). A block or two from the Sixth Floor Museum, which describes the assassination of JFK at nearby Dealey Plaza.
Fun atmosphere. Great selection of boots, hats, clothing, accessories, & souviners for men, ladies, & children! Store decor is absolutely stunning. Extremely attentive staff, very knowledgeable & helpful. There is a little something for everyone here! Worth stopping in if you are in the area.
I wanted a hat and they wouldn't help us. The boots cost a minimum of $800 - for sale right next to some dumb touristy Texas T-shirts and some A$$-Blaster hot sauce in an outhouse. Not impressed.
What an amazing store and better yet, staff. Family owned, friendly and really knowledgeable. Can’t imagine going to any Other store to get a pair of boots. World class. Seriously!
Great store with cool staff.... they have so many funky and cool items inside .... definitely worth a look if you are in Dallas
This place is pricey but that's what you pay for quality. I got a great hat and great belt and belt buckle. The ladies around Dallas loved the hat. The customer service was excellent. They spotted my friend and I immediately and knew they had a pretty easy sale. But they helped fit our hats anyways.
I'd seen Wild Bill's advertised in a local visitors guide and, honestly, I'd walked by it many times but never thought to go in. The store is small relative to other Western Stores but it's inventory was of high quality as was it's associate, JLee. We were pleasntly surprised by the courtesy and helpfulness of JLee and we hope to be going back to visit with her in the bear future.
I walked in and this old cowboy, Bill walks up to me and says "Let's get you a hat" he leads me up to the hat area and guesses correctly my hat size. He found the perfect hat and shaped it up for me. He was very friendly and helpful, I did end up buying a hat from him.
My wife wanted a new pair of cowboy boots. She didn't like any of the pair she tried on. I swear she tried on close to twenty pairs. But Bill was determined, he thought and thought about what she might like(he must know his store very well) and finally brought out a pair and she loved them. They were expensive, they they are by far her favorite pair of boots she's ever owned. During the whole time Bill was telling me rodeo stories and places he's been and seen. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. I spent a lot of money, but I don't regret it.
My go to for my boot purchases in Dallas since I moved here, they have a great selection of off the shelf as well as custom footwear. Great apparel and gifts too
I visited Wild Bills right after Thanksgiving , the sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful the prices were reasonable . I purchased a pair of dear tan bison boots which I have not been able to find. Thank you Bruce for all your help. Best shopping experience ever!
Staff was very helpful.
From the moment you step in the store, the smell of tanned leather permeates your senses. They have an extensive selection of rare and fine boots, belts and hats.
Not the cheapest, but they were happy to have me browse around before making a decision.
This place is awesome! Great selection of boots, hats, handbags and jackets, knick knacks of every sort and price range. I'm glad we went. We got all our souvenirs for our trip here, including a few for ourselves and spent under $200
If you're looking for some good stuff, you probably need to step by here. Great variety of boots and hats for women and men. You can also find a small 'tourist' section at the end of the shop. The girl that help us wasn't that nice that day, but everybody's else seemed to be nice.
