Heading back home from spending time with the grandchildren customer service at this airport has always been great no matter what time of year ive come in.

Posting this review because they currently have all water fountains past security closed and you still have to dump your water bottle before going through security.

Beautiful place. Really nice inside and out and extremely clean. We arrived early and went through security quick and easy. I was surprised it went as well as it did. The bathrooms were clean, the restaurant was clean, heck even the little shops were all in order. The covered parking is pretty nice too although it can be a little snug for trucks. Flight ended up being great too although I realize that's not necessarily anything to do with the airport itself.

Landing at 743pm on a Thursday. Just told there was a shift change and not enough crew to come guide the plane in to the gate and we will be waiting here awhile. Real smooth shift change ICT.. why is your staffing so awful?

Incredibly disorganized airport. There was only 1 TSA agent at the first point of security, so it really didn’t matter if you were PreCheck or not. In fact, the “regular” line moved way faster. On the bright side, the rest of the airport was spacious and clean with a few restaurant options. Unlike most other airports now, finding a place to charge your phone can be challenging.

We are most grateful to Tom in your baggage service department. He helped locate our bag, communicated with the St. Louis airport, expedited getting it on flight to Eisenhower. He also told me what to do at the St. Louis end to get help in locating the bag. Huge thanks to Tom and all of you at the Eisenhower Airport in Wichita, KS.

Beautiful well designed airport with especially nice seating in the boarding areas 👍🏼👍🏼
Passenger screening is extra intensive (the way it should be) so come early if you are carrying lots of 💼 bags.response / report this review -

Incredibly slow airport, if your plane lands at night expect to wait about 45 minutes for your bag from baggage claim. It's a nice airport but it's a shame that they don't have enough staff.

The airport's makeover and new facilities are beautiful. I'm recovering from serious leg injuries, so I need wheelchair service in airports, and that service is excellent, quick and friendly here. I did have one serious issue with security here. Another passenger took my laptop out of its security container and was walking away with it when security handed me that passenger's laptop, which was obviously older and much heavier than mine. Security found the other passenger within a couple of minutes and I got my laptop back, but that shouldn't have happened. Keep a close eye on your belongings as they go through security here.

Great midsized mid-continent airport. I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time into Wichita. Good layout, not at all busy even during "busy" times. Wish all airports were this way!

Very clean and updated facilities. Spacious areas with good window space. A lot of good design went into this airport.
Security was atrocious. They're were an adequate number of TSA agents but only one scanning machine with an inefficient layout. Fail on a critical airport component.response / report this review -

Well, I've been flying into and out of this place for effectively all my life. This recent major modification is a boon to the traveler for a number of reasons: it's faster, bigger, cleaner, and more modern. In effect, the "Air Capitol of the World" gets and airport worthy of the city. The design too is also clever and one can learn a decent bit about the city/region from the museum-like displays that are present.

Brand new, clean facility! Easy access to Economy Parking lot. About 100 yds. to the lower level ticketing counters, no need to wait for a shuttle. TSA was a bit lengthy, even at 8 p.m.

The cost over $150 more than the quote they gave us which was not surprising but disappointing nonetheless. The customer service, however was great! She was very kind & helpful.

The brand new airport is a true beauty. So many new improved amenities that make this a very pleasant departure/arrival point. Out with the old ~ in with the new. It's a wonderful place for our work point beginning and ending daily. Opened June 2, 2015
