If you are in pain or need medication right away, you could be waiting 30 minutes or longer. Sometimes you have to remind them about your medication. I never got my last day medication. When I was in the hospital, they covered my P.I.C.C. ends between medications. That was not done hear. I personally wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
They went out of their way to make sure my grandmother was well cared for. She was a very difficult and demanding person but the staff tried hard to keep her happy.
Avoid this place at all costs! The facility is dirty and mold ridden. The front doors are left unlocked 24/7 and patients are so crowded In their rooms that some sleep in the lobby. Staff could care less and medicine is administered when they feel like it. House doctor a quack. We called 911 and had our mother taken to an ER after her overnight stay.
I would advise anyone who wishes to put their loved one in an elderly care facility for LONG TERM CARE, please do not put them here. The nursing staff slack off, found my loved one with an injured finger due to staff not seeing that arms and legs were efficiently in the wheel chair during transportation and did not notify any family about it. They prescribed pain killers/sedatives that my loved one did not need. Whenever I came to visit, my loved one and many others were left in front of a droning television playing a movie that 90% of the residents were not watching. There is no mental stimulation and they cut corners where they can. If you have any better option, I would take it.
They took good care of a friend compared to another facility she came from.
The staff the nurses are wonderful.
They treat the elderly with respect and love this is the best place ever god bless everybody that works here.
This is one of the worst places ever!! I had my mother there for recovery. And her experience there was very very bad. The nurses are rude and careless about the residents there. Every person there has a bad attitude.. Dont bring a loved one to this place.....
You have not heard an equal amount of excuses for everything until you have stayed even a short period of time anywhere. And beware of insured purchases of medical aid equipment ( wheelches, walkers, etc.) You may not get what was "paid" for without added effort to straighten out "ERRORS". Don't let themsomeone tell you it was only rented.
A resident somehow is made to feel he or she is incarcerated (jailed for their own good) unjustly.
The place is clean and there nurse monitor the residents. And there social worker's are professional and sweet heart.
