We rent a spot here every year for our family reinion. We have always enjoyed ourselves and the camo hosts are awesome.
Great place. Alot of morning joggers so if you want to sleep in forget it. These joggers always take a partner and their not quiet their very loud!
It was our first time camping ever. The host was awesome and super helpful. Grounds and campfire area were clean and tidy even we arrived. There are only vaulted toilets, but they were well-kept. Trails to explore with our dogs were great. We had no complaints!
We have love hate feeling about this place. When we went they didn't have a camp host so teenagers were up doing a fire that night till 12 yelling and screaming. The thing we had the hardest time with this camp ground is that the trees are not maintained on the roads. We got back from camping and took are brand new 5th wheel in to get some stuff done to it and they found 3 huge holes in the roof due to the Trees being so low. We had to buy a whole new roof. They need to put in their website the height limit for trailers if they are not going to maintain the trees. There was no way to turn around once you start through the campsite. It is also very hard to back in a trailer in most spots. I just wish the money we paid for our spot would go into maintaining those trees because other than those few upsetting things I loved this camp ground. There was so much shade that helped wth heat of the day. I would for sure go there again if they would cut those tree limbs along the road.
I grew up camping here. The camp sites are all near a river, and there is a long hiking trail at the end of the campground. It's nice and very popular in the summer. Make sure you get reservations.
Beautiful campground that leads into a great hiking trail. If you follow the trail all the way up to Spanish Fork Peak you will get a fantastic view of the valley, the cities, and utah lake. Absolutely a must do! Campsites are well maintained, campground host(s) are usually very nice. This is a hidden gem.
We love coming here for evening weenie roasts. Not very crowded. Running water in multiple areas and clean bathrooms. Great experience.
Beautiful and peaceful campgrounds. The on-site managers have been very friendly and helpful. There are trailheads within the campground, which makes for a convenient hike. Bathrooms are always clean. Saturdays are great for last minute first-come-first-served camping.
It is very shaded and the camp host is awesome!
Quiet and pretty isolated, but convenient to Mapleton.
Fun and peaceful place to be. Nice and quiet. Good hiking.
