This listing seems to cover Batsto Village and the surrounding area which is great. I've camped at Goshen Pond several times. It's great for kayaking and hiking. Camp sites are cramped and you better bring in your own wood and toilet paper.

We drove out there for the day to explore and take our truck through some dirt and puddles.
It was beautiful and we had a really fun time; however our friend ended up getting his truck stuck in a mud pit. (We were told that the park rangers dig up holes on purpose as they don’t like when people go off roading there, so be careful when going there. )

Great for a hike or picnic. Looking through the old houses is an eye opening experience. If traveling with kids, be sure to take them into the little wildlife center.

A great place for camping with a small lake and hiking routes close to enjoy your weekend. We paid $25 for each night (through reserve America website) for a campsite (maximum of 6 people and 2 cars for each camp site) if you pay it in the office it will be $20. You will have a wooden bench and a fire pit in the campsite. Drinking water was available close to bathrooms. Bathroom and showers were pretty clean. The only downside was those toilet papers, it was hard to use them;)

Go explore the Pine Barrens!
Wharton is one of the best known and largest state forests.
The dirt roads are mostly legal, named roads. As long as you have a street legal vehicle it's all accessible to you (unless you come across someone's property but you'll see posted signs.)
Dirt biking is great hear but again the bike needs to be street legal (lights, signals, plate)
Technically there's a 25mph limit on dirt roads.

Awesome place for camping and get out of your routine life. Calm, and clean place. The entire Bodine field campground has single water hand pump, however is enough to suffice the need of campers.

Always a great time when we visit this New Jersey treasure. There is so much to see and do here, and so many places to explore.

Very cool place. We were there for the last two years at their auto and bottle show. Fantastic grounds, plenty to do. (if there is an event that day) Lots of old architecture.

Talk about a boring hike. Would have thought that a giant sinkhole would have made for more interesting terrain features. At least there were minimal bugs.

Great place for off-roading. Took my JK out and had a great time. Trails are amazing, you could go on for days.

Great place for the explorer. Whether your hiking or driving, this place has plenty to see. Recommend all wheel drive or 4x4 after the rain, puddles become ponds quickly.
