Westwood Early Childhood is a Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) program serving families with children birth through school-age. We provide families with child development information, family and community events, ages and stages developmental screening tools, transition information, timely support in periods of crisis, and parent education and leadership opportunities. Some of our programs include Families with Infants groups, Parent Workshops, Family Playgroups, and Early Literacy programs. We support early educators with opportunities to share best practices, a resource and lending library, referrals to assist with meeting high quality standards, and support in identifying program quality needs. Westwood Early Childhood is funded through the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) Grant: MA Department of Early Education and Care, the Westwood Public Schools, and generous donations from local grants.
